I may have mentioned that I recently returned from a trip to Alaska to learn about the Copper River Salmon fishing industry. It was the most amazing trip. The sights were beautiful, the town of Cordova, AK was charming, and the salmon\u2026 Oh the salomon\u2026 was the most delicious salmon I\u2019ve ever tasted. I\u2019ll be sharing all about that Alaska trip with photos galore for you to enjoy in my next post, but for now we\u2019ll just enjoy some salmon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, what you see here isn\u2019t Copper River Salmon (you\u2019d be spotting a deep, rich hue of pink if it were). Since that Alaska trip, I\u2019ve decided to buy Copper River Salmon only from here on out- but alas\u2026 this recipe was made and photographed before my trip, so here ya go. It\u2019s a delicious and tender sauteed salmon (sauteed in butter!) with a quick and simple topping of brown butter, almonds and capers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
